Roseville police investigate shooting at Meadows apartments

ROSEVILLE — The Roseville Police Department is searching for the suspect in a shooting that took place March 20 in the 31000 block of Nardelli Lane, near Interstate 94 and Masonic Boulevard.

The incident took place at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the south parking lot on the east side of The Meadows apartment complex.

Officers were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of several gunshots and an unknown person calling for help. Upon arrival, a 29-year-old Detroit man was located with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition, investigators said.

The case is under investigation by Roseville detectives. They stated that they had no information on the suspect and they had not determined any motivation in the shooting. They also said that a dark-colored car was in the area at the time of the incident, but detectives are not sure if it was involved in the crime.
