BERKLEY — Coolidge Highway recently underwent a major makeover in which the lane markers between 11 Mile and 12 Mile roads were restriped. The roadway now has one lane each for northbound and southbound traffic, with a permanent middle lane for left turns. There also is a bike lane and increased space for parking on the street.

ROYAL OAK — June 1 is the day that the much-anticipated 581-space parking garage, located at 11 Mile Road and Williams Street, is set to come online. It will be accessible from 11 Mile, and in the future, a second entrance will open on Second Street.

BERKLEY — After a one-month delay, the Coolidge Highway restriping and lane reduction project has been completed. The project consisted of restriping Coolidge between 11 Mile and 12 Mile roads to reduce the number of lanes from four to two with a new middle left-turn lane, while also adding bike lanes and additional on-street parking.
