Small parks were cut into the roadside in Keego Harbor as part of the streetscape design when Cass Lake Road was widened and the city celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2005-06. These pocket parks feature benches, flowers and landscaping, and they give people a chance to sit and rest as they walk along Cass Lake Road.

There are four pocket parks within the city. The first is Tri-City Firefighters Park, which honors the first firefighters who serviced the tri-city area, providing service until the 1960s. The second is dedicated to mother and daughter Allie and Wilma Webb, community activists. The third is Veterans Plaza, which houses “The Rock,” honoring all veterans and active military members. The last is Sunset Park, which overlooks Cass Lake.
