NOVI — Kids of all ages dressed in costumes strolled with their parents through ITC Community Sports Park during the afternoon of Oct. 22 for the city of Novi’s Jack O’Lantern Jubilee.

The purpose of the event was to give families a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween while also introducing them to the ITC Trail, said Cristin Spiller, the event’s organizer.

More than 15 businesses and community organizations handed out candy and other goodies at booths set up along the trail. Musicians from School of Rock Canton and Farmington Hills provided entertainment with Halloween-themed sets.

“The event went well. Participants enjoyed interacting with vendors, meeting characters, playing games, making crafts and enjoying music from School of Rock Farmington and Canton,” Spiller said.
