ROSEVILLE — Voters showed they are pleased with their current board configuration by re-electing the incumbent school board members during the May 3 election.

Roseville Community Schools Board of Education members Theresa Genest, Ruth Green and Gregory Scott were chosen for three, six-year terms. Challenger Vincent Battani took 17 percent of the vote, falling behind the three incumbents. Current Board member Kevin Switanowski beat out challenger Nicholas Frontera for one partial term that will end in June 2015 by taking 68 percent of the vote for that seat, and Matthew McCartney ran unopposed to retain his seat at the board table for a partial term that will end in June 2013.
