A 24-year-old Clinton Township man has been charged in the shooting death of Jamila Monet Vigler-Cage, 21, from Auburn Hills, found dead in a car in the parking lot where she worked at One Source Talent in Troy at around 6:15 p.m. March 7.

Mullen was arraigned on first-degree homicide and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony in 52-4 District Court March 10. He appeared in court without an attorney and requested a court-appointed attorney. Judge Maureen McGinnis entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. No bond was set.

His preliminary exam is set for March 18.

Troy police Sgt. Andy Breidenich said another employee found Vigler-Cage slumped in the driver’s seat of a black sedan, with multiple gunshot wounds to her head and upper body, at the business, which is located east of Coolidge, north of 14 Mile, near the Oakland/Troy Airport.

According to the company’s website, One Source Talent “is a service for the fashion and acting communities. One Source Talent maintains an interactive database of models, actors and clients looking to fulfill creative requests and needs.

Breidenich said it was unclear what Vigler-Cage’s job was at the company.

Company representatives could not be reached for comment at press time.
