Troy police are hoping a man’s third strike means he’s out after he robbed the TCF Bank at 1484 Coolidge Road at 11 a.m. Oct. 27.

Police believe the same man wore the same clothing while robbing the TCF Bank at 2138 E. Big Beaver Road at 11:15 a.m. Sept. 10. The man was described as white, in his 30s or 40s, and 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build and possibly brown hair. He was seen wearing a black ball cap with tape over the logo, a gray hooded sweatshirt with black tape over the logo, gray pants and dark colored loafers.

Troy police Sgt. Meghan Lehman said investigators also believe the same man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, stonewashed jeans and brown shoes robbed the same TCF Bank on Coolidge Road at 11 a.m. April 16.

Lehman said that during the Oct. 27 robbery, the man demanded money, and a weapon was implied but not seen.

She said he left the bank on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Troy police at (248) 524-3477.
