This is the first time these programs have ever faced one another.
vs. Livonia Stevenson (5-4) — 7 p.m. Sept. 5
This is the first meeting since a 49-7 Stevenson victory in 2007.
vs. Walled Lake Central (2-7) — 7 p.m. Sept. 12
Northern has dominated each of the past two years, grabbing victory by scores of 41-10 and 49-7 after Central won the first eight meetings ever.
at Waterford Mott (4-5) — 7 p.m. Sept. 19
After starting 2013 with a 2-0 record, Northern was upset by Mott in a 61-58 shootout.
at Waterford Kettering (6-4) — 7 p.m. Sept. 12
Northern is 5-0 against Kettering in the past five seasons.
vs. Walled Lake Western (9-2) — 7 p.m. Oct. 2
A Thursday night game, and if it’s anything like last year, expect fireworks. Western escaped the 2013 meeting with a 44-35 victory. Northern won six consecutive games after the loss.
at White Lake Lakeland (4-5) — 7 p.m. Oct. 10
Northern has won three in a row against Lakeland, including last season’s 45-26 meeting.
at KLAA Crossover Game — 7 p.m. Oct. 17
vs. Traverse City West (5-5) — 7 p.m. Oct. 24
It’s the first meeting ever between these teams. Home field could be key as West will have to travel some 250 miles for the game.

Romeo remained undefeated by defeating Macomb Dakota 26-14 in a Macomb Area Conference crossover that paired two of the top-ranked teams in Michigan. Romeo’s defense came into the game having surrendered just 13 points all season, and helped seal the win with a safety and interception return for touchdown by Brad Tanner in the fourth quarter. Romeo earned its first win against Dakota since 2010.
