Roseville High’s and East Detroit’s baseball and softball teams bowed out of the state tournament in the district round.
In baseball, Roseville reached the finals, falling to Harrison Township L’Anse Creuse. The Panthers had defeated Warren Woods Tower in an earlier semifinal after receiving a first-round bye. Roseville wrapped up the year 6-15 overall. East Detroit, meanwhile, lost to Grosse Pointe North in its district game. The Shamrocks finished the year 12-18.
In softball, East Detroit fell to Grosse Pointe North in a district semifinal. The team ended up 0-13. Roseville, meanwhile, lost to Warren Woods Tower in a district semifinal and finished the year 6-17,
