Several Oakland County prep bowlers with local ties received All-State honors from the Michigan High School Interscholastic Bowling Coaches Association
Several other local senior bowlers were honored as Academic All-State recipients, as well.
Nick Cooper (Clarkston High) earned Division 1 first-team honors.
Haley Hysell (Walled Lake Central) and Katelyn Gladstone (Lake Orion) made the D-1 second team.
Local boys who made the senior All-Academic team are Nik Remley (Walled Lake Northern), Benjamin Novak (North Farmington), Trevor Mielock (Lake Orion), Matt Prosniewski (Farmington Hills Harrison), Nathan Vader (Walled Lake Northern) and Erik Grinbergs (Harrison).
Girls on the senior All-Academic team are Mackenzie Rauch (Walled Lake Northern), Corrinne Greer (Harrison), Hannah Cook (Harrison), Brittany Jones (Farmington Hills Mercy), Carlie Hautau (Walled Lake Northern), Melissa S. King (Troy High) and Jee Yeon Kim (Madison Heights Bishop Foley.
