These teams have met twice before, a 37-30 Country Day win in a 2007 D-4 state semifinal, and a 44-28 Zeeland victory last fall.
vs. University of Detroit Jesuit (7-5) — 7 p.m. Sept. 5
Country Day has lost to U of D in each of the past three seasons, including last year’s 28-27 heartbreaker.
at Detroit Loyola (13-1) — 2:30 p.m. Sept. 13
Loyola’s 20-14 victory last year put Country Day at 0-3 at the time. The Yellowjackets then went on to win eight in a row.
vs. Detroit Consortium (4-5) — 7 p.m. Sept. 19
This is the first meeting ever between these programs.
vs. Escanaba High (3-6) — 1 p.m. Sept. 27
Country Day won the only other meeting 34-7 in 2013.
vs. Detroit Cesar Chavez Academy (3-6) — 7 p.m. Oct. 2
Country Day rolled to a 56-6 victory in last year’s meeting.

Rice and Country Day played every year from 2000-2004, with the Warriors winning four of the five games. They haven’t played since a 30-8 win by Rice in 2004.
at Muskegon Catholic Central (12-2) — 7 p.m. Oct. 17
The teams haven’t played since a 34-27 Muskegon victory in 2009. The Crusaders have won 30 games the past three years, including the D-8 title in 2013.

These teams have met twice before, a playoff win by Country Day in 2007, and a Milan playoff win in 2000.

Romeo remained undefeated by defeating Macomb Dakota 26-14 in a Macomb Area Conference crossover that paired two of the top-ranked teams in Michigan. Romeo’s defense came into the game having surrendered just 13 points all season, and helped seal the win with a safety and interception return for touchdown by Brad Tanner in the fourth quarter. Romeo earned its first win against Dakota since 2010.
