Police search for missing endangered Southfield man

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.
According to a news release from Deputy Police Chief Nick Loussia, of the Southfield Police Department, authorities are looking for 40-year-old resident Terrell Ernest James.
James was last seen Aug. 31 outside his apartment complex in the 27000 block of Franklin Road, Loussia said in the release.
Police said James’ family believes he may be off his medication and has been diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia.
James is described as a black man around 5 feet 9 inches tall and 230 pounds. He has a full beard and full dreadlocks, Loussia said in the release. He walks with a cane and was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt, dark jeans and possibly Nike gym shoes.
Loussia said in the release that James has been entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as a Missing Endangered Person.
