Apparent murder/suicide in Keego Harbor leaves four dead

KEEGO HARBOR — Police are investigating an apparent murder/suicide that has left four people dead.

On Friday, Feb. 16 at 8:10 a.m., Keego Harbor Police Department officers responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 2300 block of Cass Lake Road in Keego Harbor.

Officers met with a concerned relative before entering the house. Upon entering the house, the officers discovered the bodies of the four victims in “what appears to be a family situation murder/suicide,” according to a release from KHPD.

In the release, KHPD officials said there is no danger to the community and the suspected perpetrator is accounted for.

The incident is still under investigation.
