TROY — Savor entrees at restaurants you’ve never visited or return to your favorite spots and spend less for the tab when Troy Restaurant Week returns March 12-17.

This spring’s lineup features 23 restaurants, including three new ones: Benihana, La Saj Lebanese Bistro and Sedona Taphouse.

“In a city with an influx of new restaurants, (Troy Restaurant Week) continues to grow,” said Troy Chamber of Commerce CEO and President Ara Topouzian. “People love it. It gives residents and workers the opportunity to try something different. There’s a lot of variety and a lot of offerings.”

InTouch Credit Union sponsors the event, which the chamber has spearheaded since 2009. Yelp Detroit and Elefant Design & Strategy also support the event.

Jennifer Palmer, manager of La Saj Lebanese Bistro, said the restaurant held its grand opening about three months ago. She said they decided to participate in Restaurant Week because “the chamber has been awesome. It’s a great community,” she said. “It’s a way of inviting people in to sample our dishes and a way to be involved in the chamber.”

The event’s fixed prices for selected menu options feature three courses in most cases and range from $15 to $45. Reservations are accepted at most restaurants. Some restaurants offer both lunch and dinner options for the event. People can check out menus and make reservations at www.troyrestaurant week.com.

Diners can snap a photo of themselves enjoying their dining experience during Troy Restaurant Week in the “Oh Snap, It’s Troy Restaurant Week!” contest and submit the photo on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #OhSnapTRW17 for a chance to win a $50 gift card to one of the participating restaurants. One gift card will be awarded each day.

“It’s very popular,” Topouzian said of the contest.
