vs. Detroit Leadership Academy (1-7) — 7 p.m. Aug. 24

vs. Detroit Universal Academy (0-9) — 7 p.m. Aug. 31

It’s the first meeting between the programs. Universal Academy established its varsity program in 2017.

vs. Lutheran Westland (4-4) — 7 p.m. Sept. 7

This game marks Mount Clemens’ first as a member of the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference. Lutheran Westland was shut out three times last season. The Bathers are scheduled to play a full nine-game schedule for the first time since 2015.

at Dearborn Heights Star International (1-8) — 7 p.m. Sept. 14

Star International has won a total of 10 games in 13 years of having a varsity program. This will be the first time these programs will meet.

at Sterling Heights Parkway Christian (6-4) — 7 p.m. Sept. 21

Mount Clemens and Parkway Christian have never squared off. The Eagles in 2017 advanced to the state playoffs despite a 0-3 start. Mount Clemens hasn’t seen the postseason since 1994.

vs. Auburn Hills Oakland Christian (7-3) — 7 p.m. Sept. 28

It’s the second straight game that Mount Clemens will meet a 2017 state playoff qualifier. The Lancers averaged 32.4 points per game last season. The Battling Bathers scored 78 points total in 2017.

vs. Southfield Christian (3-6) — 7 p.m. Oct. 5

Mount Clemens and Southfield Christian will meet for the first time. The Eagles have finished above .500 just three times in 12 seasons.

at Detroit Public Safety Academy (3-6) — 7 p.m. Oct. 12

It’s the third and final game of the season for Mount Clemens against a team from Detroit. The Eagles are 5-13 in two years as a varsity program.

at Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest (9-1) — 7 p.m. Oct. 19

Mount Clemens ends the season with what, on paper, should be its toughest matchup of the season. Northwest started the 2017 season at 9-0 and held five opponents to eight points or less.
