Scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 3 at Warren Cousino

Both teams will attempt to get off to a winning start in the Macomb Area Conference Blue Division in this Week 2 matchup.

Cousino defeated Warren Woods Tower 43-6 in its season opener last week, whileFraser lostto Utica 41-31.

In last season's matchup, it was Cousino coming away with a 38-28 victory. The Patriots went on to win the MAC Blue title last year, finishing with a 5-0 record in conference play.

After qualifying for the playoffs for the first time since 1998 last season, getting a win against Cousino could be a big boost in Fraser's attempt to be a postseason participant for the second consecutive year.

Cousino will also take a shot at making it to the playoffs for two consecutive seasons.

Offensively, Cousino is led by quarterback Ben Maleszyk.

A few of Fraser's offensive threats include running backs Luke Warchol, Walter Davis and Dominic Mielke.

On the defensive side of the ball, Cousino looks to get key contributions from defensive back Joe Servitto and linebacker Zach Kitka.

Fraser linebackers Mielke and Mike McTigue, along with Davis at defensive end, are in charge of slowing down Cousino's offense.
