CLAWSON — Clawson High softball coach Jim Sparks wants to win. His Trojans won 18 games last season and were a perfect 12-0 in the Macomb Area Conference Bronze Division, which all culminated in a league title.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS — For the past two years, Bloomfield Hills Marian soccer has been on top with back-to-back state championships. In 2017, the Mustangs beat Forest Hills Northern 2-1 in the Division 2 state final. The teams met again in 2018, with Marian again coming out on top, this time by a 4-2 final score.

UTICA — Through four games, the Utica High girls soccer team is 3-1 on the season. Coach Dave Moran’s team started off the season 3-0 before a loss to Utica Eisenhower March 27. During that win streak, the Chieftains scored 10 goals.
