Warren police seek to ID man struck, killed on Nine Mile

WARREN — Police have yet to identify a man who died after he was struck by traffic on Nine Mile Road, at MacArthur Boulevard, after sunset Aug. 25.

Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said the man, described only as between 40 and 50 years old, was hit by two vehicles at 9:10 p.m. as he crossed Nine Mile Road, east of Van Dyke Avenue.

“There was no identification found on the victim,” Dwyer said. “We feel he’s possibly homeless.”

The commissioner added, “We’re asking for anyone who would have any information regarding someone who is missing to give us a call here at the Warren Police Department.”
