ROSEVILLE — The Roseville Police Department is searching for the suspect in a robbery that occurred at a local business Jan. 16.

The incident took place at the ABC Warehouse at 20620 13 Mile Road, near Little Mack Avenue. Police said that at 10:58 p.m., just minutes before closing, the suspect entered and was greeted by an employee who was preparing to close up for the night.

According to investigators, the suspect asked to use the restrooms. When the employee responded that the store was about to close, the suspect pulled out a handgun, police said.

Police said the gunman forced the employee back into the store and then approached the counter where a second employee was counting the day’s proceeds. The gunman grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot, heading toward the southeast, according to police. The encounter was captured on security cameras.

Police described the suspect as a black man in his mid-20s with a thin build who might have skin discoloration around his lips. He was wearing a burgundy Adidas hoodie at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information on the matter is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Stephan Dzierzawski, of the Roseville Police Department, at (586) 447-4492.
