Roseville man dies after shooting in parking lot at apartments

ROSEVILLE — A 31-year-old Roseville man is dead following a shooting March 18.

The incident took place at approximately 1:40 a.m. in a parking lot at the southeast corner of Oakland Street and 11 Mile Road, which is west of Gratiot Avenue. Roseville police said they were dispatched to the location after receiving a call from a man who said that he had been shot.

Upon arrival, police discovered that the man had been shot twice. The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead several hours later, according to Roseville police.

Investigators said they believe the incident took place in the parking lot where the man was found, which is behind some apartment buildings.
