Police investigate shooting outside Roseville apartments

ROSEVILLE — The Roseville Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at the Macomb Manor Apartments Nov. 18.

Officers arrived on the scene in the 19000 block of Jerome Street, near Masonic Boulevard and Gratiot Avenue, at approximately 5 p.m. Police said they found a 25-year-old Roseville man suffering from multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in the parking lot. According to investigators, the man was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital but was refusing to cooperate with police and provided no information.

Police said that an unknown assailant was responsible for the shooting; the assailant used a rifle based on the shell casings recovered at the scene. Police added that although no description of a suspect was available, a vehicle possibly belonging to the shooter was seen leaving the area immediately after the incident. Police described the car as a white or silver older-model Chevrolet Malibu or Impala.
