MOUNT CLEMENS — Macomb County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the case of a missing, possibly runaway, 13-year-old boy out of Mount Clemens.

Sgt. Renee Yax said Daejon Markham left his home in Mount Clemens on July 20, and has not been seen since. Authorities say he is believed to be in the Detroit area. Markham is described as black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 115 pounds, with short, brown, afro-style hair and brown eyes. Markham is believed to be wearing black and white Nike shoes.
