Looking Back: Case’s Hardware

ROCHESTER — Case’s Hardware is ready for customers Aug. 23, 1931. An advertisement from Sept. 22, 1939, shows items for sale. Case’s Hardware was located on Main Street, near Fourth Street, in downtown Rochester. The building was built in 1890 by Harvey Taylor, and it was destroyed in a fire in 1968.
