Investigation begins into fatal fire in Roseville

ROSEVILLE — The Roseville Police Department and Roseville Fire Department are conducting an investigation into a fire that destroyed a home in the Leslie’s Mobile Home Complex and left one person dead.

According to the Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. April 19 inside the complex, which is located in the 25000 block of Gratiot Avenue, near the intersection with 10 Mile Road.

Fire Department personnel responded, extinguished the blaze and found one deceased individual inside. According to the Police Department, the deceased individual has not yet been positively identified, and a criminal investigation has begun in conjunction with the Fire Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
