TROY — Troy police are asking anyone with surveillance cameras who lives near the 700 block of Amberwood Drive, near South Boulevard and Rochester Road, to review their footage for information on an intruder who reportedly touched a woman’s leg at 2 a.m. Aug. 19.

The suspect is described as an 18- to 25-year-old white man with a thin build, wearing a white shirt.

According to a press release, the woman was in her bed when she felt someone touch her leg. She screamed, and the man ran out of the room.

Police said they believe the suspect entered and exited the home through a basement door.

A K-9 track indicated that the man may have traveled on foot in neighboring yards, the release states.

Police said they have not ruled out whether the suspect targeted the home or entered it in error.

According to the report, nothing was stolen from the home, and multiple family members were home at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Troy Police Department at (248) 524-3477.
