Hills police investigate possible stranger danger incident

Farmington Hills police are investigating a suspicious person report of a man who reportedly followed a child home from a bus stop Feb. 10. 

They’re calling the incident a possible case of stranger danger. 

According to a news release, a child reported that an unknown black man between the ages of 20 and 30 walking in the area of Willow Lane and List Street, near Middlebelt and Eight Mile roads, followed the child  home from the bus stop around 4:30 p.m.

Police said the suspect is approximately 6 feet tall, and he was wearing a blue baseball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Police are increasing patrols of the area as they investigate. 

Police have not received any reports or information regarding similar incidents in the area.
