ROSEVILLE — The Roseville police are investigating the theft of five vehicles from the car dealership AMC Auto April 19.

The dealership, which is located on Groesbeck Highway near the intersection of Common Road, was robbed at approximately 10:30 p.m.

“They broke in the window, stole keys and used them to steal some vehicles. They stole five vehicles, and we have recovered three of the vehicles so far,” said Roseville Deputy Police Chief Mitch Berlin. “No arrests have been made. It looks like a group of six to seven subjects is responsible. We have no descriptions of them so far.”

Berlin went on to say that AMC Auto was also robbed last year by suspects using a similar method.

“They were also robbed last year,” he said. “They stole the keys and got in the vehicles and drove them away, similar to this recent case.”

Anyone with information on the matter is asked to contact the Roseville Police Department at (586) 775-2100.
