UPDATE: Missing Clinton Township teen found safe

UPDATE: According to an Aug. 5 social media post from the Clinton Township Police Department, the girl has been located and is safe, and family was on the way to pick her up.

 

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — A local mother is pleading for help in finding her daughter.

A post on the Facebook page of Heather Stewart Szparaga, of Clinton Township, made at 9:42 p.m. Aug. 3, states that her 14-year-old daughter, Emily, had been missing since 3 p.m. that day.

The teen reportedly last told her mother she was going for a walk around the block, and never returned. She was wearing black pants, a black Chippewa Valley T-shirt and green Converse shoes. The Clinton Township Police Department was notified of the missing person.
