According to Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham, deputies were dispatched to Comerica Bank, 16700 26 Mile Road, at 12:03 p.m.

The sheriff’s report states that a woman, described as black, approximately 5 foot 1, entered the bank and handed a bank employee a note demanding money. The woman then fled the scene with a small amount of large bills. Wickersham said it is unknown if the woman was armed with a weapon, as none was seen.

Wickersham said the suspect is also sought in connection to attempted bank robberies in Sterling Heights and Warren, and an Oct. 18 bank robbery in Troy.
