Event Details

The events in our calendar were submitted prior to the coronavirus crisis. As efforts have increased to contain the spread of the coronavirus, many events have been canceled. On March 13, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order to cancel all events statewide that involve more than 250 people. It is recommended that you call ahead if you still intend to attend one of these events.

The Village Players of Birmingham will perform "The Miracle Worker" Jan. 17-Feb. 2 at the group's theater, located at 34660 Woodward Ave. in Birmingham. The show tells the story of the volatile relationship between teacher Annie Sullivan and her student, the blind and mute Helen Keller. Performances will take place at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets cost $19 per person.
