The events in our calendar were submitted prior to the coronavirus crisis. As efforts have increased to contain the spread of the coronavirus, many events have been canceled. On March 13, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order to cancel all events statewide that involve more than 250 people. It is recommended that you call ahead if you still intend to attend one of these events.

Maple sugaring in the park

The Farmington Hills Nature Center will host a maple sugaring program at Heritage Park, 24915 Farmington Road in Farmington Hills. The program offers three time slots to choose from: 10:30 a.m.-noon, 1-2:30 p.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. Participants should dress for the weather. The program costs $7 per person and is free for kids younger than 2. Pre-registration is required.
