vs. Detroit Edison Academy (1-8) — 4:30 p.m. Aug. 28
Edison will be playing its third year of football this fall. The school has won one game in its first two seasons of play.
at Royal Oak Shrine (6-4) — 2 p.m. Sept. 6
Shrine has won three years in a row against Liggett and has missed the playoffs only one time since 2002.
vs. Auburn Hills Oakland Christian (5-5) — 2 p.m. Sept. 13
Liggett has won five consecutive games against Oakland Christian by a combined score of 186-20. Oakland Christian began its football program in 2008.
at Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest (2-7) — 7 p.m. Sept. 19
Liggett has won its last four games against Lutheran Northwest, which last made postseason appearance in 2010.
at Southfield Christian (10-2) — 7 p.m. Sept. 27
Liggett will look to avenge two losses in 2013 — 20-8 in the regular season and 27-14 in the postseason.
at Sterling Heights Parkway Christian (5-5) — 1 p.m. Oct. 4
Liggett has taken three in a row from Parkway, including a 27-21 victory last year. Parkway’s last postseason appearance was in 2010.
at Westland Lutheran (2-7) — 1 p.m. Oct. 11
Liggett has defeated Westland by 14 or more points each of the last four seasons. Westland made the playoffs in 2011 and 2012.
vs. Clarkston Everest Collegiate (7-3) — 1 p.m. Oct. 18
Clarkston Everest fielded a football team for the first time in school history last season, and the Mountaineers defeated Liggett 40-7.
vs. Detroit University Prep (8-3) — 2:30 p.m. Oct. 25
University Prep began its football program in 2006, and in the last two years, the Panthers have gone a combined 16-5. University Prep won a predistrict playoff game in Division 5 against Mount Clemens Clintondale last year.
