After a weeklong series sweep of Rochester High May 14-17, the Cougars secured a share of the Oakland Activities Association Red Division championship. At press time, the club held an 18-9 overall record with a 13-2 mark in the Red.

After longtime head coach Jason Gendreau stepped down from the helm of the Utica Eisenhower baseball program to take the same role at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, Spisak filled the void. He inherited a lineup of 23 players on varsity that comprises 12 seniors, 10 juniors and a sophomore.
