The Crusaders advanced to the final by besting Harrison Township 4-1 and Macomb Dakota 3-2 earlier this week in district play. Romeo, meanwhile, topped Port Huron High 5-0 and Port Huron Northern 3-1 in overtime.
L'Anse Creuse North heads into the contest with an 11-5-4 record overall after finishing 6-3-3 in the Macomb Area Conference White Division. Romeo is 5-12-3 after going 2-7-3 in the MAC White.
The teams tied their first meeting of the season, 1-1 Sept. 19 at Romeo. The Bulldogs then beat the Crusaders 4-1 Sept. 28 at L'Anse Creuse North.
In other local district soccer action, Sports Writer Jason Davis will be covering the Warren De La Salle vs. Utica Ford II district final at Chippewa Valley, so look for a recap from that contest later as well.
