A full roster from Brother Rice moving on
National Signing Day kept things quite busy at Brother Rice. On Feb. 5, 22 athletes officially signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
“This is one of the largest groups of athletes we’ve had on a National Signing Day in recent history,” Athletic Director Reg Cavender said in a release by the school. “It’s a real testament to the success of our academic and athletic programs.”
Those that signed include Jason Alessi (football, Yale University), Sage Baltrusaitis (football, West Point), Austin Brown (football, Robert Morris University), Chris Carter (football, University of North Dakota), Josh Flye (football, Siena Heights University), Jack Grisan (football, Saginaw Valley State University), Jeremy Hickey (football, Eastern Michigan University), Shaun Jones (football, Notre Dame College), Corey Lacanaria (football, Ball State University), Dominic Perkovic (football, Columbia University) Alberto Sandoval (football, Cornell University), Brian Walker (football, Notre Dame College), Damaris Woods (football, Saginaw Valley State University), Ryan Donnelly (baseball, Washington College), Freddie Jehle (baseball, Siena Heights), Sammy Stevens (baseball, Georgetown University), Ty Kiafoulis, (baseball, University of Michigan), Randy Righter (baseball, Bowling Green State University), Matthew Ruppenthal (baseball, Vanderbilt University), Liam Reaume (lacrosse, Binghamton University), Bradford Jones (swimming, Bellarmine University) and Joe Krause (swimming, Notre Dame University).
