vs. Utica (4-5) — 7 p.m. Aug. 28
These two programs have met just twice since the two schools regularly played each other in the early ’90s and have not met since 2005. Utica last made the postseason in 2010.

vs. Warren Cousino (1-8) —7 p.m. Sept. 5
These two schools haven’t met since 2007, and Fraser hasn’t defeated the Patriots since 1996.

at Grosse Pointe North (6-4) — 7 p.m. Sept.12
Fraser scored 21 unanswered fourth-quarter points to defeat North 35-34 in 2013. North qualified for the postseason for the first time since 2009 last year.

at Sterling Heights Stevenson (4-5) — 7 p.m. Sept. 19
Fraser has not faced Stevenson since 2000. After going to the state finals in 2009, Stevenson has had one winning season.

vs. Anchor Bay (4-5) — 7 p.m. Sept. 26
These two teams haven’t met since 2011, when Fraser won 14-7. Anchor Bay has had one winning season since 2005.

vs. Roseville (1-8) —7 p.m. Oct. 3
Fraser and Roseville played each other every season from 2002-2011, while each school took five games from the other in the span. The schools haven’t played for the last two years.

at Lakeview (3-6) — 7 p.m. Oct. 10
This matchup has not occurred since 1989. Lakeview is switching from the MAC Gold Division to the MAC Blue. Lakeview has made two postseason appearances since 1982. 

vs. L’Anse Creuse (1-8) — 7 p.m. Oct. 17
Fraser has dropped two in a row to L’Anse Creuse, with its last win against the Lancers coming in 2007. L’Anse Creuse last made the playoffs in 2003.

vs. Sterling Heights (1-8) — 7 p.m. Oct. 24
In 2013, Fraser snapped a six-game losing streak against Sterling Heights by defeating the Stallions for the first time since 1998, 48-13.

Beverly Hills Detroit Country Day

Thanks to two early scores, some lock-down defense, and a touchdown with just 5:25 remaining in regulation, the Beverly Hills Detroit Country Day football team picked up a 20-13 victory against Milan High in a Division 4 regional final on Nov. 14 and earned this week’s Team of the Week honor. Country Day, which had outscored its opponents 78-7 in the district round, advanced to the state semifinals for the second year in a row. The Yellowjackets (11-1) face Flint Powers Catholic (10-2) at 1 p.m. Nov. 21 at West Bloomfield High.
