The district round of the state cheerleading tournament wrapped up at various locations across the state. Several local teams advanced to the regional round following top-four finishes in districts.
Here's where the local teams will compete in regionals Feb. 23. For a complete list of all the regional competitors, visit www.mhsaa.com.
Division 1 at Troy Athens
Macomb Dakota, Rochester High, Rochester Adams, Stoney Creek, Utica Stevenson, Utica Ford II, Utica Eisenhower and Warren Cousino will be in action beginning at 11 a.m.
Division 1 at Novi
Lake Orion is the lone local qualifier. Action begins at 3 p.m.
Division 2 at Ortonville Brandon
Madison Heights Lamphere and Warren Woods Tower are the only local squads in action. Competition gets under way at 10 a.m.
Division 3 at Oxford
Pontiac Notre Dame Prep is the only local qualifier. Action gets under way at 6 p.m.
Division 4 at Mason
Sterling Heights Parkway Christian is the lone local squad. Competition begins at 6 p.m.
