Open tryouts for Wayne State track and field
The Wayne State University women's track and field team will hold two open tryouts for interested participants at the Blanchard Lowell Track, located on WSU's athletic campus.
The first tryout is set for 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Sept. 11 and will be for throwers. The second session is from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Sept. 19 and will be for sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and any throwers that couldn't make the earlier tryout.
Anyone interested should contact head coach Rick Cummins at email@example.com or associate coach Kirby Blackley at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to showing up for either tryout session.
Interested students in attending must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits) for the Fall 2013 semester at Wayne State. In addition, players must bring proof of insurance and present proof of a physical exam within the last six months.
