North Farmington-Harrison’s Nita Kedharnath chips out of the rough in a match earlier this season. The squad is ranked in the top 10 in the state.
After a long season of battling for bragging rights in their conferences, the playoffs are just around the corner for girls golf and boys tennis.
Here’s a look where each local squad is headed for their regional to potentially start their run for a state championship.
In golf, the top three teams in the tournament move on, as do the top three individuals on non-qualifying teams.
For tennis, it’s the top two teams that gain automatic bids, with a chance of a third team if it earns 18 points. Individuals from non-qualifying teams can advance if they make the final in No. 1 singles.
Each tournament typically starts at 9 a.m. but is subject to change. Contact the host site for more details.
