Sterling Heights resident and Warren De La Salle student Jake Townsley will travel with his Vardar boys soccer team to compete in the Manchester United Premier Cup World Final in China later this July after winning the Manchester United Premier Cup U.S. Finals back in May in Portland, Ore.
Townsley, a goalkeeper, and his Vardar teammates defeated Real So Cal in the national final to advance to the world competition.
