As a creative writer, family and friends throughout the United States, Canada and England, were kept abreast of family news, history and current events. If you met her once and shared your birthdate, from then on you were at least guaranteed one card arriving by mail, if you were lucky….there would be a dollar or two included.
Pat Hoemke donated her remains to Wayne State Medical School. A private family celebration of her life will be held in the future.
