Selfridge to hold live exercise May 12
Nearby residents may hear sirens, loudspeakers, simulated gunfire

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township will be conducting a live exercise on Friday, May 12.
Selfridge officials report that the exercise may include the use of sirens, loudspeakers and simulated gunfire. Residents or those in the area near the base may be able to hear some of the sounds as a result of this exercise.
The Michigan Air National Guard conducts training exercises on a regular basis to ensure that local Airmen are able to appropriately respond to a wide range of scenarios.
