CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The Clinton Township Police Department is trying to identify a driver who allegedly struck a pedestrian with her car.

A press release issued by the police the morning of Feb. 5 said the incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Jan. 23 on Partridge Creek Boulevard, near Romeo Plank Road. The victim was reportedly crossing Partridge Creek when a silver Chevrolet Impala — described as a model made between 2009 and 2011 — allegedly hit the victim.

The driver reportedly exited her vehicle to check on the status of the victim. Police said the driver then allegedly drove the victim to the Manors at Knollwood, north of 19 Mile Road. The victim was reportedly dropped off at the front gate of the apartment complex, where she lives.

The driver was described as a white woman believed to be in her 30’s, with brown hair and eyeglasses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Clinton Township Police Lt. Bruce Wade at (586) 493-7931.
