St. Clair Shores Police are looking for the driver of a gray Ford F-150 truck with damage on the front passenger side that they believe is connected to a hit-and-run accident.

Officer Paul Opper said that around 6:30 a.m. April 26, the truck driver allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of Detour Street and Greater Mack Avenue, striking a white Chrysler 200 driven by a St. Clair Shores man in his 20s. Opper said the driver of the truck then allegedly fled the scene after the collision.

There were no injuries reported from the incident.

Police have surveillance video from a gas station at Masonic Boulevard and Harper Avenue shortly after the accident that shows what they believe to be the suspect and his vehicle.

Anyone with any information on the accident, suspect or suspect vehicle is asked to call Opper at (586) 445-5333.
