June 27, 2012Man dies following tree-trimming accident

Shelby Township police reported that a man died following “a tree trimming work related accident.”
Police and fire were dispatched to the area of 24 Mile and Mound roads at roughly 9:30 p.m. June 26 after being alerted to the accident.
In a release, Lt. Stanley Muszynski said that the man was the owner of a local tree-trimming company that had been contracted to remove trees in the area, and the he “died as a result of his injuries in the accident.”
