In the early 1900s, Presbyterians in Berkley held church services in Angell Elementary School, 3849 Beverly Blvd.
In 1949, the church moved into this white frame church on Greenfield Road in Berkley with a new name of Greenfield Presbyterian Church. A few years later in 1954, the church moved into its current brick church at 2312 Greenfield Road.
James Tong, with the Berkley Historical Museum, came across this photo while compiling it as part of “Images of America: Berkley,” which is available at the Berkley Public Library, Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com.
