September 4, 2012Grosse Pointe South students get one more day of summer

While everyone else had to sit in classes for the first day of school, Grosse Pointe South High School students had to wait one more day.
The school had no power in 25 classrooms and some hallways that were darkened due to a power line break. They called off classes at the high school, but required staff to report to the building for the day, according to an email from the district.
