July 12, 2012‘World’s biggest’ garage sale returns to Royal Oak

The Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 37th annual Royal Oak Garage Sale from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. July 14-15 at the Lafayette Parking Garage, between Fifth and Sixth streets, in downtown Royal Oak.
Items ranging from household goods to jewelry, knick-knacks, apparel and estate sale treasures will be available. Touted as “the world’s biggest garage sale event,” admission costs $2 for shoppers age 12 and older. For more information or to check the availability of vendor spaces, visit www.royaloakchamber.com.
