Near the end of the water fight at Steffens Park in Fraser July 8 Parks and Rec coaches tried to take cover from the squirt guns. The kids tried to coax the coaches a little closer to squirt them with water.

Six-month-old yellow labs Koda and Kingston, owned by Leslie DeGrendel, of Beverly Hills, play at the Lincoln Hills dog park in Birmingham July 8. DeGrendel said she loves coming to the park often with two dogs.
The Warren Woods Public Schools Summer Day Camp took a field trip on the Diamond Jack's boat tour in Detroit July 6. Here, Samantha Beltz who is 7 years old and going into second grade comes aboard for the tour, which features river views of Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Hall, the Renaissance Center, the Windsor skyline, the Manoogian Mansion, Belle Isle, and the Roostertail.
