League: Oakland Activities Association White Division Offense Farmington Hills Harrison coach John Herrington believes he has a three-headed monster in the running game in Slobin, junior Cassell Baker and senior Chris Pride. The question now is whether the rest of the young offense can keep up “We have three tailbacks that we think can run the ball very well, and we have good wide receivers,” Herrington said. “If our quarterback can come through, I think we can have a good offense.” Special teams A regular on the soccer field, this is Morris’ first season with football. “He’s never played football before,” Herrington said. “The last two years we had a kicker from off the soccer team. What I’ve seen so far, it looks like he has good range and is a good kicker.” Coach’s outlook “We had a bad end of the season last year, and I think this group is determined to turn that around,” he said of the Hawks losing their final four games. “The JV was good (last year), and we’re counting on a lot of juniors. I expect us to compete for a league championship.” — Christian Davis
